Hi loves! So I've been exploring some new face oils, masks and cleansers. These are the ones that I have been loving the most so far. I rotate some of them for morning and night but I use my face oils both day and night for moisture and it also helps with my foundation as well because I notice I am less oily throughout the day when my face is more hydrated and moisturized. My skin is combination/oily with lots of oiliness in the t-zone area so don't be afraid to use oils on the skin because you're oily. It just lets your skin know that it doesn't need to produce as much because you're already moisturized.
My Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging Regenerating Cream Cleanser (mouth full, lol) face wash is what I use once or twice a week. Mainly when I don't wear makeup that day. Because I feel I get a nice deep exfoliating clean and it helps keep my skin clear of debris and the daily sun and weather exposure. It has a nice fresh scent which is still not chemically strong which I love. It's an exfoliating face wash but gentle on the skin and doesn't leave my face feeling raw or itchy just clean and refreshed.
These new L'Oréal face washes and masks have been amazing. I'm going to get the rest of them because I want to try them all out now. The two I've been using about 2 to 3 times a week are the charcoal and mattifying masks. You can feel the mattifying mask tightening on your skin as it dries. Really working to minimize those pores and mattify the skin. The charcoal mask works to brighten and detox the skin so it is a little less restricting as it dries. I love the pure clay cleanser. It's an exfoliating and refining mask. I have the 3 pure clay and red algae mask and I love it. It's not too rough on the skin so I am able to use it every day. I love the fact that these masks and cleansers have an earthy smell to them. That way it feels like you're actually cleansing and doing your skin some good rather than just rubbing chemicals into it.
I use Vanity Planet Spin for Perfect Skin brush with both face cleansers but sometimes I will just use my hands if I don't want too deep of a cleanse so to not irritate my skin when I've just waxed it or done another deep treatment. But I've been using this brush for almost 2 years now and I love it. I even bought my daughter one. It has a body brush for body exfoliation, a face brush, an exfoliating face brush and a pumice brush for more rough areas like elbows, knees and feet. It's an amazing brush that is so much more affordable than some other face brushes that can run you well into the $100-$400 range. I believe I had a coupon and only paid $20 plus shipping for mine. 🤗
My face exfoliating gel from European Wax Center is another favorite. I like to use this twice a week especially when I've been wearing a full face of makeup multiple times during the week. I just wash my face, dab it dry and then apply the gel and rub my hands in circular motions until I feel all the dead skin start to come off. Once I've done my whole face I go over it lightly with my spin for Perfect skin brush and rinse. My skin feels so smooth and clean after and I notice my makeup application is a lot smoother as well. It also has a nice scent which by now you should know I don't like over powering chemical smells. Especially if it's supposed to be a facial cleanser or mask for my face.
Once I'm done cleansing my face and I've done my mask, I will apply my facial moisturizers and oils. During the day I apply a light application of everything so it has time to soak into the skin and then I can apply my makeup and at night I like to use a more healthy application of product so my skin is relaxed and hydrated during the night. I first apply the Puretem moisturizer and then some of the Caudalie moisturizing sorbet. I use about 4 drops of Julep Rose Hip oil that I received in my voxbox and then I apply Vitamin E oil on top. I've noticed that my skin is much softer and more radiant now rather than waking up with a dull, dry appearance to the skin.
I apply pure castor oil to my eyebrows and lashes at night to help with growth. I've been using this for about 3 months and I've noticed some change in my brow and lash growth it's just a slow process with this method.
Towel pictured is Aquis Hair Towel (influenster sent it to me in a posh voxbox for testing purposes and I love it)
Overall I definitely recommend trying these products. They have all worked together to make my skin look more radiant and fresh. I haven't had any breakouts either since switching to this face routine. Check out these new face goodies. The L'Oréal, Olay, vitamin E and Castor oil I purchased all of those from Walmart. I hope if you try them you love them just as much as I do.
