I was looking for a cleansing brush that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I have seen the Clarisonic all over the place with the popular bloggers and all over youtube but I just was not trying to spend $200 for a face brush. That just seems crazy to me lol.
So I was in Target looking for some new face wash and something to help with the acne I started to develop once I got pregnant. I came across the AcneFree Advanced Cleansing Brush and happened to have a coupon as well as it being on sale so I only paid about $14 for it. I thought it would be a great alternative to the pricier brushes and would help me figure out if I even liked using a face brush.
So I went home and got online and started looking up the brush and seeing others reviews on it before I tried it out. To my surprise a lot of people were comparing it to the CLarisonic and the Olay cleansing brushes. Which was funny because I hadn’t heard of any other brush besides the Clarisonic (one of the most expensive ones) go figure lol.
It’s actually the perfect size for everyday and travel because its the size of your hand and it will fit in a small travel bag. It’s great for carry on bags as well. I’m not sure what size the others are but I can’t imagine they would be that much bigger. At least I hope not, lmao.
So I started using the brush and honestly you never really realize how dirty your face is until you have scrubbed it clean with a spinning brush lol. Before I started using the brush I was just using my Neutrogena Makeup Remover Face Wipes, my Clearasil Fast Fix Acne Kit and at least once a week a cleansing mask. But still my face was dirty even after all that. The brush really deep cleans your face and gets all the dirt and oil out of your pores.
All in all the brush has really helped my skin. Within 2 weeks my acne was really clearing up and my face was looking brighter and feeling a lot better and less heavy (if that makes sense, lol). You can see what your makeup wipes and just washing your face leaves behind when you use the brush and at first I thought I just didn’t wash my face well that night but no morning or night your face is dirty whether you wore makeup or not and even if you didn’t go out that day at all.
Over all I give this cleansing brush a 10/10 for me. It cleanses great and my skin has really gotten a lot better since using it for the last 3 months. You should definitely give it a try before buying one of those really expensive brushes just because others are getting it and raving about how awesome it is. Because honestly spending more doesn’t always mean your getting the best bang for your buck.
So thats my review of the AcneFree Advanced Cleansing Brush. Stop by a Target or a store near you and grab one to try. You’ll be glad you did.

I wouldn’t say waterproof no. More like water resistant to an extent. As long as you aren’t constantly getting the battery door wet, it will work fine. I kept mine in my shower and it still worked. But getting it really wet constantly does effect it. Hope that helps doll. :0)
