Shredded BBQ Chicken Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 18 oz bottle BBQ sauce (I love Sweet Baby Rays)
  • 2 packs Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1 box Texas Toast (optional)

  • Crockpot
  • Crockpot Liners

Method
 

  1. Line with bag and/or spray your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place your chicken breasts into the bottom. Season with salt & pepper.
  2. Then season with smoked paprika. Smoked paprika is different than the regular paprika. It has smoke flavor added which really brings a lot of flavor to a BBQ dish.
  3. Add Minced Garlic and Diced Onion
  4. Cover chicken completely with BBQ sauce
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
  6. Remove chicken when ready and pull apart with a fork
  7. Put chicken back in crockpot, cover and stir with BBQ sauce
  8. Serve on Texas Toast or Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
