I have hopefully found something that will change my brush routine slightly for the better. Now before I found the brush egg I had heard that Sigma had a silicone brush cleaning glove that retails for $40. Well I went and did some research on it because for the price I expected it to be some extremely awesome product. To my surprise it was basically a silicone oven glove and I was not having any parts of paying for an over priced oven glove lol. So I continued to wash my brushes the way I had always been washing them, my prune fingers in tow, lol.

I heard about the Brush Egg both on Twitter and Instagram. But I first laid my eyes on one through an Instagram photo. I thought oh that is just so cute. I’ve been washing my makeup brushes by just rubbing them in circular motions over the soap and getting it clean that way. (I just recently posted a video on youtube and made a blog post showing how I cleaned my bushes, lol.) So I figured why not give this a try. I went to the website and to my surprise it was only $8 plus shipping. I ended up paying $10 even with shipping included.

Granted the brush egg does not cover your whole hand and its not a glove but honestly you don’t really need all that, its not that serious. You hold the brush egg and then slide it on 2 or 3 fingers whichever ones are more comfortable for you and then wash your brushes just like you would if you were rubbing the brush over soap or in your hand. Simple, easy and extremely affordable.

Because sometimes you don’t need to spend an outrageous amount for something. Especially because half the time the only reason these things sell is because popular bloggers/vloggers tell you its a great deal just because of the brand or because it was sent to them for free. I don’t believe in that or wasting money just because someone says its a great buy and you should do it. (If they jumped off a bridge……) lol.
Well anyway thats all for this review. Don’t forget to head over to brushegg.bigcartel.com and grab you a brushegg today. I’m really loving this product and I think its so cute and compact and helps deep clean and thoroughly rinse my brushes. No extreme prune fingers or dry, white hands from soap residue. You really should give this a try because its a really affordable, great way to clean your brushes all while looking so cute on your fingers lol. I will eventually post another video and blog on my updated brush cleaning routine.
Until next time loves,
Always Remember You’re Beautiful!
