Hello dolls, so I haven’t done a monthly favorites for the blog so I figured why not now? I didn’t have many this month because I’ve been trying to give my face a break and I haven’t really been makeup shopping in awhile. (What has the world come to lol?) But the products that I have been pretty consistently using I thought I would post my most used, favorite ones for the month of July.
I have been hearing about the Revlon Colorstay foundation and I have the Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation which is great but I’ve been using my Kat Von D which I’m in love with btw for so long that I never gave it a second thought. I was going out somewhere one night and didn’t have time to go home so I stopped at the Walmart and decided to grab that one. To my surprise it’s a really great foundation and I’ve been using it for the past 2 months. It’s usually the one I grab for when I’m getting ready. Great coverage and finish and paired with my ELF translucent powder I don’t have to touch up my face during the day.
I’ve also really been loving the ELF studio line brushes and the fact that they are $3 at target is amazing and any brush Target doesn’t carry you can find online at www.eyeslipsface.com.
All in all the drugstore is winning this month I guess lol.
Of course my Naked 2 palette is my staple eyeshadow palette. I grab that and my Naked Basics palette almost all the time and especially when I’m working I use it on brides all the time. It just works so well.
The only none beauty favorite I have is my iPad mini. I love this little bug. I had the bigger iPad 2 and I got rid of it and got the mini because it fit so much better in my purse or bag and works just fine for me. I use it mainly for blogging on the go, posting photos or as my portfolio for meetings and potential clients. I especially love it because it syncs with my iPhone so I have everything right there on either one. I’m just an Apple geek I guess lol.
Well dolls that’s all for my July favorites.

I really liked using the Revlon Colorstay foundation. I have since run out, but it was definitely good for a drugstore buy. I did notice my breakouts increased a bit when using it, but foundation reactions can vary from person to person, so I wouldn’t worry about it 🙂
Yeah I have only used it for about a month and so far so good. I have seen a few breakouts but I’m not sure yet if it’s from that so we will see (fingers crossed) lol.
